Container plans are isolated and limited to the running of a single website. The initial resources will be dedicated to that website but it will not be possible to add extra customizations or software at a later stage. Also, we cannot offer root access with container plans.
A cloud is a digital machine that is able to host multiple websites as well as additional software and optimisations. If you are running your e-commerce store from more than one web domain (perhaps you have a blog that is linked in from a different website) then you should choose the cloud plan. Root access can be granted depending on the requirements of your specific circumstances.
